Thank you for your patience while we continue to update this page.
As educators of one of our greatest resources, our future generations, the GLRC looks to you for guidance and leadership regarding youth education. The GLRC would like to work with you and your school to help educate the students about the importance of our water resources. This includes pollution prevention, wildlife conservation, understanding land use affects on our environment, and overall preservation of the our natural resources. Our group focuses on our water resources and improving water quality. However, all human activities relate to the natural environment and in some way affect our water resources.
The GLRC has developed this web page to serve as a toolbox for you to gather ideas and resources related to environmental education. Please review some of these activities, projects, and ideas for environmental education. Many of you may have to meet the NPDES Phase II Stormwater requirements, these examples and available resources will help you towards compliance with your permit. If you have any questions or would like to discuss these projects, or if you have additional information to add to this page, please contact Erin Campbell at (517) 393-0342 or ecampbell@mitcrpc.org.
